She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Jesse Hooks and Lucy Ellen Page Hooks; her husband Luther Henry Floyd, Jr.; her daughter Lori Yarborough; and her siblings, A. Q. Hooks, Franklin Hooks and Ophelia Hooks Duncan.

She is survived by : her grandson Hunter Campbell (Kelly) of Edgewater, MD; and her sister-in-law Derotha Hooks.
