He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. O'Connor, Jr. and Joan Elsa Behm O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hunsinger O'Connor; his children, Michael O'Connor (Valarie), Michelle Reeves (William) and Patricia "Patti" Casella (Joe); his siblings, Danny O'Connor (Juanita), Patty Gersbacher, Sue Besten (John), Debbie Garafolo, Kathy Durkin (Larry) and Joanie Mahar (John); and his grandchildren, Joey, Violet, Sadie, Alyssa, Khloe and Liam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A reception was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
