He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Shroyer and Florence Gottshall; his sons, Rick Shroyer and Mike Shroyer; and his sister Louise Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Shroyer; his son David Shroyer (Connie); his daughter-in-law Nancy Shroyer; his grandsons, Jonathan Shroyer (Lori), Samuel Shroyer, Carl DeVault and Phillip DeVault (Betsy); his great grandchildren, Owen, Hayden, Belle and Phillip Jr.; and his caregivers, Latonia, Mazie and Joann.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
