He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Reynolds Waldrop and Wesley Waldrop; and his wife Evelyn Paxton Waldrop. He is survived by: his sons, Sam Waldrop (Heather) of Marion, SC, Ardy Waldrop, Jr. (Ginger) of Timmonsville, SC, Rich Waldrop (Kristen) and Matthew Waldrop (Kelley) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
