With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Glenn Bell Jr. of Florence, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glenn Bell, Sr. and Kate Lowry Chisolm; his sister Jane Grier Bell; and his stepson John Finklea (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Betty Finklea Jones Bell; his children, Dorothy Sampson (Mike) and Robert Glenn Bell III (Betsey); his stepchildren, Candice Stark (Richard) and Stephen Jones (Frances); and his grandchildren, John Justin Carter (Kristin), Michael Sampson (Erika) and Kristen Newcomer (Ben).
