He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Dove and Inez Morris Dove; his brothers, Wilmer Dove, Reuben K. Dove, Jr., Genaire "Jerry" Dove, Legrand Dove and Curtis L. Dove; and his brother-in-law Neal Byrd.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Kathy Ammons; his daughters, Jennifer Konsul, Tara Dove-VanWormer (Daniel) and Rebecca Dove; his sister Betty Dove Byrd; his son-in-law Tony Konsul; his grandchildren, Courtney Konsul (Karl Fleming), Paige Huffstetler (Zach), Emily VanWormer, Nathan VanWormer, Finley Beard and Mack Beard; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob and Adaleigh; his nieces, Debbie Kidd and Kathy Tiller; and his nephew Neal Byrd, Jr..
