He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Silver and Ettaline Amlin Silver; and his siblings, Virginia Silver Shelley, Ruth Silver Grossman, Juanita Silver Armentrout, Janette Silver Maggard, Warren James Silver, Edward Homer Silver and Mary Silver Zerbe.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Robinson Silver; his daughter Katrina Silver Sorrentino (Richard Paul Sorrentino); his granddaughter Leah Sorrentino Harris (Maxwell Scott Harris); and his great grandchild Brooks Richard Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
