With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelby E. Montrose of Florence, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hartley and Daisy Johnson Hartley; and her brothers, Bobby Joe Hartley, Donnie Hartley, Mitchell Hartley and Richard Hartley.
She is survived by: her husband Aubrey Montrose of Florence; her sons, Johnny Montrose of Maryland, Jerry Montrose (Shannon) of Florence, Richard Montrose of Florence and Kevin Montrose (Christina) of Florence; her grandchildren, Pvt and Class Samantha Montrose; and her sister Nancy Lloyd of Florence. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
