We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Sherry Yamao Poston of Florence, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yaich Yamao and Momiko Yamao; her husband Harvey McDonald Poston; her son Harvey Donald Poston; and her granddaughters, Amanda Powell Watts and Ashley Cox.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Dinsmore (Ernie); her grandson Evan Cox; her nephew Edward Ard (Evelyn); her niece Diane Cole; and her close friends, Perry and Patsy Giordano.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dawsey United Methodist Church (2708 Fleetwood Dr, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Prospect Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dawsey UMC.
