He was predeceased by: his parents, Derwood Deaver and Evelyn Weatherly Hutchinson; his son Stephen Christopher "Chris" Deaver; and his siblings, Alan Deaver, Rebecca Flowers, Diane Beverly and Wanda Dell Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda "Mandy" Bellamy Deaver; his children, Seth M. Deaver (Breanna) and Sara E. Pierson (Andrew); his grandchildren, Morgan Deaver, Mayer Deaver, Lennon Deaver, Olivet Deaver and Leah Pierson; and his sister Connie Fike. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Temple or to the Florence Christian School, 2308 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC 29505.
