He is survived by: his children, Danny Bailey (Cheryl), Dran Epps (Sam), Ernie Bailey Sr. (Nancy), Ann Jones (Robert), Harold Quick Jr. and Emily Perdue (Gary); his grandchildren, Thomas Jackson (Kimberly), Tonya Johnson, Christina Hyman (Keith), Jessica Harris, Casey Evans (Derek), Matthew Griffin, Elizabeth Mays (Ethan), Ernie Bailey Jr., Kristopher Bailey (Tori), Rory Bailey (Annie), Raina Bryant (Gene), K. J. Quick, Terry Jones (Nicole), Jason Perdue (Sarah), David Bruce and D. J. Bruce; and his close friend Jimmy Rhodes. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waters-Powell Funeral Home (400 S Dargan St, Florence, SC 29506). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (100 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
