He was predeceased by: his parents, Allard George and Lula Belle Kirby Thornbrew; his siblings, Edward, Allard, Willard, Dorothy Floyd, Lizzie Jeffords, Maggie Lynch, Laney Defee and Eunice Brown; his stepdaughter Eileen Cassidy Harris (Bob); Ann Anderson Thornbrew and Lucille McLeod Thornbrew.
He is survived by: his stepson Mike Cassidy (Joyce); his grandchildren, Robert Harris, Julia Harris Wilkeson (Jim), Ashley Cassidy and Amy Cassidy; and his great grandchild Will Wilkerson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501).
