He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Katherine Lazzara Ericksen and Robert W. Ericksen; his brother Robert Ericksen (Robin); his nephew Ryan Thomas Ericksen (Francesca); his niece Ashley Ericksen Shaw (Andrew); his great-niece Emelia Katherine Shaw; and his great-nephews, Noah Robert Ericksen, Alexander Caleb Shaw and Harvey James Shaw. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
