She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John Seaborn Creech; her parents, William LeRoy and Lillian Woodham Payne; her sisters, Frances, Eloise, Lina May and Lillian; her children, John S. "Johnny" Creech Jr. of Florence, LeRoy Payne Creech (Meg) of Sumter, Miriam Creech Brice (James) of Greenville and Susan Creech Johnson of Chapin; her grandchildren, Lillian Carlisle Brice Allen (Jacob), William Payne Creech, James Clowney Brice IV, Chapell Francis Johnson (Eden), Chandler Booth Johnson, Layton Richardson Creech and Thomas Fulton Creech; and her son-in-law Eric Johnson. She was also cherished by children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (9 W Calhoun St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Covenant Place Hourly Employee Gift Fund; the Mission Funds at First Presbyterian Church or Mayesville Presbyterian Church.
