He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Lewis; his children, Vernon Nathaniel Singletary of Columbia, SC, Julius LaVan Singletary (Buffy) of Columbia, SC, Tadessa Singletary Hart (Jimmy) of Bessemer City, NC and Crystal Rose Singletary; his sisters, Mary Ann McKever of Effingham, SC, Dora Elizabeth Weekfall of Effingham, SC, Margaret Ann Singletary of Miami, FL and Mattie Ruth Davis of Meriden, CT; his grandchildren, Ashtin Singletary, LaMonte Singletary, Novean Mitchell and Destiny Kelly; his godchildren, Meghan Ware of Baltimore, MD, Michael LaVaughn Ware of Baltimore, MD, Alesha Richardson of Florence, SC, Alonna Freeman of Florence, SC, Antwon Sutton of Florence, SC and Landyn Cain-Hawkins; and his close friends, Jimmy Carter, Leo Graham and Samuel Robinson. He is also survived by eight brothers in law, eight sisters in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
