She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Kosmowski and Alice Rosak Kosmowski; her husband Robert P. Gimla; and her siblings, Harry Kosmowski Jr., Jerry Kosmowski and Rose Barutha.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Sheaffer of Columbia, SC, Dale Heiden of Florence, SC and June Sheaffer-Kelly of Florence, SC; and her stepdaughters, Karla Kelly (Dennis), Marcia Labutski (Steve) and Paula Smith (Dean). She is also survived by one grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
