He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Hardee and Etta Matthews Hardee; his wife Margaret "Evelyn" Barrineau; his grandson Scott Hardee (Sharon); and his great grandchild Elyie Hardee.
He is survived by: his sons, Allen Hardee (Sherri) and David Hardee (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Corey Cook (Wayne), Brantley Hardee (Crystal) and Britney Hardee. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
