It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Alton Clark Sr. (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pharoah Alton Clark and Mary Louise Grice Clark; and his daughter Rachel Alison Clark. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette P. Clark; his son Wayne Alton Clark Jr.; and his siblings, Leon Clark, Ricky Clark (Robin), Joann Starling (Tony) and Sandra Smith.
