He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachail Constant Johnson and Leroy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Brogdon Johnson; his children, Lando Johnson (Sherrie) of Timmonsville and Sharon Nesbitt of North Carolina; his stepchildren, John Lee (Amy) of Timmonsville, Cindy Bender (Michael) and Laura Hassler (Juerg) of Greenville, SC; and his brother Ralph Johnson of Timmonsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
