He was predeceased by: his parents, William Andrew Douglas and Thelma Ellen Jones Douglas; his wife Linda Douglas; his son Greg Douglas; and his siblings, Andy Douglas, Billy Douglas, Gene Jones, Richard Douglas, Woodrow Douglas, Corinne McDaniel, Mary Agnes Douglas and Annie Mae Hudson.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Turbeville (Walt); his grandchildren, Evan Turbeville, Kamran T. Young, Savannah Douglas and Trevor Douglas; and his siblings, Charles Douglas (Heidi), Catherine Lawrimore of Georgetown and Joyce Douglas of Georgetown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
