In loving memory of William Herman Bailey III of Florence, South Carolina, who departed this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 77. William leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Price Bailey and Herman Bailey, Jr.; and his siblings, Larry Bailey and Brenda Joyce Bailey. He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Alford Bailey; his daughter Melissa Chavis (Eddie) of Florence; and his sisters, Linda Sauls of Effingham, SC and Phyllis Taylor (Milton) of Selma, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the South Florence Baptist Church (2720 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505).
