He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary B.. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Patrick of Lafayette, IN, Susan Smalls of Florence and Thomas A. of Coventry, RI; and his close friend Daniel Akers. He is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home (512 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505).
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Medicine, Florence Symphony or the Senior Citizens Association.
