He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Philipp, Sr. and Sallie Louise Savell Philipp. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Philipp; his sons, Fred Philipp (Myriam) and Tommy Philipp (Jamie); his grandchildren, Louis, Graysen, Matheo and Charlie; his siblings, Ron Philipp (Carol) and Sallie Philipp Rouse (Mike); and his sister-in-law Alice Coyle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
