He was predeceased by: his brother Sammy Townsend; and his children, Steven Charles, Charles Worth and Malissa Ann. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Worth B. Townsend, III (Sonny), Mark and Randy; his grandchildren, Kasey, Chandler and Jessie; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Broxton (Brock); and his sisters-in-law, Vickie S. Wright and Doris Townsend.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home (512 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the same location.
