He was predeceased by : his parents, Aaron Fechter and Sadie Baumrind Fechter; and his brothers, Robert, Melvin and Hyman Fechter.
He is survived by : his nieces and nephews, Dr. Cary Fechter, Alan Fechter, David Fechter (Karen), Michael Fechter (Tia), Aaron Fechter (Kerry Green), Saul, Sadie Dingfelder, Ethan Leggett, Adrienne Fechter (Tom Hicks), Nancy Kedem (Ben) and Harriet Romano; his great-nephew Nathan; his nieces and nephews, Janis Kirtz Toodie (Harold), Essie Fechter, Ann Fechter Fleming (Ron), Megan Fleming Walker, Dr. Karen Fechter Leggett, Abigail, Nathan, Michelle, Jeremy, Alice, Adam, Benjamin, Maris, Noah, Carson, Rachel, Max, Gabrielle and Thia; his partner's daughter Katrina; his close friend Norman Lubesky; and his pets, Blacky, Jeremiah, Sadie and Blondie.
