John Crow wrote a sympathy message

“Terribly sorry for the delay, but yet even at this time, I still think of Aubrey. His loss remains profound and I miss him. He was my boss at PONL in NJ. What a tremendous leader of a large Northeast Sales team. A true southern gentleman, brilliant, kind, generous colleague. Learned so much and his leadership directly led to many of my successes. Sparkling personality, high positive energy, caring... this is Aubrey. With Buffalo Trace, I'm saying "Roll Tide/God Bless Aubrey!"”

Sam Ruda wrote a sympathy message

“Aubrey was my very first boss when I came out of the Sea-Land Management Training Program in 1986. We worked together in Atlanta. I knew nothing and he was patient and taught me a great deal. He had a great wit and charm. He also taught me something I never forgot. He said “ your hair grows on company time, so you got to get it cut on company time.” My sympathies to his lovely wife and family. Sam Ruda Jersey City, New Jersey”

Edwin Bastian wrote a sympathy message

“To the Richardson family, I had to extreme honor to work with Aubrey at NYK office in NJ during the early 90's. A true gentleman with an infectious laugh and great sense of humor. Lost touch with him as we both moved on in different directions. I will always remember one Christmas day that Joanne and Aubrey invited my wife and I to Christmas dinner. We were both new to NJ and our 1st Christmas together without family. It really meant so much to us. God bless Aubrey!”

Anil Vitarana wrote a sympathy message

“I knew Aubrey from the late 80’s when we represented competing ocean carriers at shipping conference meetings. What I remember most was his sharp wit and ever present smile. Eight years ago, I had the opportunity to hire Aubrey as the Key Accounts Manager of UASC. Aubrey worked from his home office. He was well liked by his customers and was popular among his colleagues. On behalf of his former colleagues at UASC, I wish to offer the Richardson family our condolences on the passing of Aubrey .”
