It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lowder James of Fort Mill, South Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lowder and Clara Deese Lowder; her husband Billy Ray James Sr.; her daughter Renee Wright; and her grandson Randy Dean Wilson Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Bobbi Wilson (Randy) of Fort Mill, Billy Ray James Jr. of Fort Mill and Richard James (Melissa) of Fort Mill; and her siblings, Robert Lowder, Pat Taylor, Jack Lowder, Ricky Lowder, Jesse Lowder and Phyllis Phiffer. She is also survived by grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
