It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Thompson of Fort Mill, South Carolina, born in Limestone, Maine, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Norsworthy and Pearl Norsworthy (Acheson); and her brother Gary Green. She is survived by: her family, Betty, Bunco and Bocce; her husband Russel Philip "Phil" Thompson; her sister Joyce Hiner; her daughter Laura Rublee (Philip Carpenter); and her grandchildren, James, Paige Rublee Bonus, Elizabeth and Kameron Carpenter Many. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
