He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Lee Skipper and Macy Jane Sheehan Skipper; and his wife Virginia Ruth Bratton Skipper. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Skipper Coursey (Mark), Billy Skipper (Jodi) and Sharon Bodiford (Charles); his close friend Charles Cassidy; his grandchildren, David Coursey, Jr. and Macee Coursey (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Aubri Cook, Hunter Banks Cook and Jamison Coursey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
