He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Louis Brown and Esther Mariane Brown; and his wife Sheila Auten Brown. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Shannon Cain (Jeff); his grandson Elisha Baker; his brother John Brown (Pat); his nieces, Kristin Brown and Megan Carter (Gregory); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maxwell and Mallory Carter.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
