We bid farewell to Catherine Love Barrett of Fort Mill, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 25, 2026 at the age of 97. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert Love and Macie Bird Love; and her husband William Barrett. She is survived by: her daughter Pat Strawn (Mike); her granddaughters, Shannon Tilley (Adam) and Katie Long (John); and her great grandchildren, Aidan and Emma Tilley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and some very special friends.
