David Marcus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Marcus in Fort Mill, South Carolina, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nat Marcus and Edna Marcus. He is survived by: his children, John Marcus (Rabbi Sharon) and Laura Hahn (late Jeff) of Fort Mill, SC; his grandchildren, Becky, Noa Marcus, Jenna and Theo Hahn; his brothers, Herb Marcus (Cookie) and Marty Marcus (late Lois); and his former wife Jan Bohne. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A reception will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beechmont Country Club (29600 Chagrin Blvd, Beachwood, OH 44122). His final adventure was driving from Las Vegas to South Carolina with Laura in 2021 during the pandemic to live closer to her and her family.
