With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorcas Elizabeth Chapman of Fort Mill, South Carolina, born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sephur Faile (Joe) and Rebecca Parker Faile (Beckie); her husband Jimmie Roger Chapman; and her siblings, Stephen, Joseph Jr., Julia, Fay, Johnnie, Atmer, Gwynne, Eunice and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Gemetta Chapman Stanford (Grier), Jimmie Keith Chapman, Jerry Roger Chapman (Shana) and Joseph William (Joey); her grandchildren, Jessica Chapman Mixon (Mike), Keith Chapman, Brandon Stanford (Willow), Kari Chapman Roberts (James), Will Chapman (Kaitlyn), Taylor Chapman Rivers (Trey), C. J. Chapman and Kennedy Chapman; her great grandchildren, Eric Douglas, Tara Beth, Peter Michael, Alijah Jayden, Allieana June, Weston James, Jasmine Elizabeth and Jaxson Eugene; and her sister Rebecca Jean Cardillo.
