She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Armitage Mitchell and Esther Elizabeth Poole Mitchell; her husband Raymond Farmer; and her sisters, Barbara Ziegelmann (Vernis) and Louise Rodgers (George).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janel Brunson (Greg) of Fort Mill, SC and Lea Thorusen (Jerry) of Epping, NH; and her grandchildren, Douglas, Jennifer, Laura, Brienne and Ashley. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
