He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Privette and Elizabeth Mabel Morris Privette; and his brother Vance Privette. He is survived by: his wife E. Jane Kell Privette; his children, Ernest "Ernie" F. Privette, Jr. (Teresa) of Indian Land and Rena Privette Beall (Jim) of Charlotte; his siblings, Leon Privette of Fort Mill, S. C., Bruce Privette of Stallings, N. C., Gary Privette of Stanley, N. C., Wayne Privette of Stanley, N. C. and Juanita Ann Edwards of Charlotte, N. C.; his grandchildren, Beth, Andrew, Caroline, Grace, Lacey and Stella; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Isabella.
