He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Gieser (McClughen); his parents, Henry Gieser and Elizabeth Gieser (Nicholas); and his brother George Gieser. He is survived by: his children, Mary McCandless (Michael), Peggy Nesbit (Byron) and David Gieser (Ann); and his grandchildren, Meghan Goering (Joe), Stephanie Basen (Shane), Dylan Kwaiser (Jordan), David McCandless (Ashley), Christina, Edward Nesbit (Annie), Tyler Nesbit, Luke Gieser and Maran Gieser.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns United Methodist Church (130 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715).
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome remembrances in his honor to Saint John's United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
