She is survived by: her sons, Albert Madsen (Madeleine) and John Madsen (Maria); her siblings, Marga and Wilfred; and her grandchildren, Emily, Ian, Jason and Diane. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Glen Rock Baptist Church.
