He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hugh Calvin Rea Jr. and Marilu Rea Sorrells; and his parents, Hugh Calvin Rea Sr. and Flora M. Barnes Rea. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Grayson Rea; his former spouses, Helena Colyer Rea, Catherine Rea Toomey (Jay) of Matthews, NC and David Colyer Rea (Stefani) of Dallas, TX; and his grandchildren, JT, Austin (Margaux), McClendon Rea, Jake, McNeil Toomey, Virginia, Cole, Jack Rea, GiGi Rudolph, Gretta, Wolf Grayson, Abby, Sydney and Dallin McClellan. He is also survived by close friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill or Hospice of Fort Mill (VIA Health Partners).
