He is survived by: his wife Vicki Ward Sherman; his daughter Melissa Sherman Burgess; his son-in-law Robert Eric Burgess; his grandsons, Blake Burgess and Ashton Burgess; and his sister-in-law Teresa Ward of Asheboro, NC..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Pl, Fort Mill, SC 29708). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609).
