Joe leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joe will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy J. Hill and Guinetta Lackey Hill; and his wife Joan Hopkins. He is survived by: his sons, Byron Hill (Kristen) and Greg Hill; his grandchildren, Caitlin and Jackson Hill; his brother Stanley Hill (Linda); and his brother-in-law Mark Hopkins (Becky). He is also survived by his family, close friends and his church family.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Unity Presbyterian Church (303 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715).
