He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary, Joan, Ellen, Helen, Peter and Billy; and his parents, John Spanburgh Sr. and Helen Spanburgh (Lenahan).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Spanburgh (Rostron); his sons, John and Michael (Pam); his grandchildren, Zach and Ryan; his daughter Susan (Greg); his grandchildren, Jack and Mattie; his daughter Patti (Robert); his grandson Dylan; his daughter Mary (Patrick); his granddaughters, Clara and Annie; and his siblings, Kathy Suttle (Rudy) and Andrew Spanburgh (Carol).
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Palmetto Funeral Home (2049 Carolina Pl, Fort Mill, SC 29708).
