He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Lutz, Sr. and Nancy Coble Lutz; and his sisters, Ann Harry (Charlie), Susan Allred (Herb) and Gennie Carpenter (David).
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Quinn Lutz; his children, John Alexander Lutz, Meredith Leigh Lutz, Joshua Quinn Lutz and Haley Lutz Gough; his grandchildren, Kayla, Courtney, Clayton, Tripp and Wyatt; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Khylan and Sophia.
