She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Carter and Azile Smoak Willcox; her husband James H. Patterson; her children, James Willcox (Anne), Carter McIvor (Beth) and Crawford Elizabeth Patterson Hammond (Chris); her grandchildren, Abbey, Jake, Alex, Mac, Caroline Patterson, Champ, John Henry and Reed Hammond; her godson William Davis Huggins Jr.; and her niece Barri Helms (Terry).
