We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2021, at the age of 79, Murray White Jr. (Fort Mill, South Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Murray White Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Hipp; his children, Patrick Murray White (Jamie), Susan Leigh Kidd (Daryl) of Fort Mill and Martha Grace Waters (Frank) of Spartanburg; and his sisters, Anna White of Columbia, MO and Elizabeth Cribb.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zachary White, Harper Ennis (Jake), Brice, Boyce, Grace Waters, Alexander, Leah, Ella Oppel, Morgan and Luke Kidd.

The foundation has grown and continues to have an impact on the Fort Mill School system by providing scholarships for students and grants for teachers. Along with his family, he recently established the Irene Wilson White Future Teacher Scholarship with the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools.
