He is survived by: his wife Emily Edge Chiles; his son Isaac Beverly Chiles; his daughter-in-law Emily Katherine Chiles; and his grandchildren, Ezra Foster Chiles and Katherine Tate Chiles. He is also survived by extended family—nieces, nephews.
