She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Whitesides and Ruth Whitesides (Crafton); and her husband John Douglas Cauthen. She is survived by: her children, Mark Douglas Cauthen and Jennifer Cauthen Olson (Todd Olson); her granddaughters, Kayleigh Cauthen Olson of Knoxville and Amanda Lee Olson of Knoxville; her sisters, Kay Gibson of Fort Mill, SC and Brenda Stowe of Fort Mill, SC; and her pet Max. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
