She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester D. King and Mary Penny Roberts King of Willow Springs, NC; and her sisters, Evelyn Penny of Raleigh, NC. and Amelia "Bobbie" Langdon of Raleigh, NC.. She is survived by: her husband Elton F. Tripp, Sr. of Fort Mill; her children, E. F. Tripp, Jr. (Freddy) and Stephanie T. Shearin (David) of Wilmington, NC; her granddaughters, Heather S. Page of Wilmington, Sarah Katherine Gottshalk of Johns Island, SC and Rachel Caroline Tripp of Nashville, TN; and her great grandchildren, Laila Kate Page, Reagan Page, Addison Gottshalk, Lucy Gottshalk and Lily Gottshalk. She is also survived by two loving parents and grandparents.
