Rita McGeady Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita McGeady of Fort Mill, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Friel and Mary Friel; and her sister Sarah Morgan. She is survived by: her son Ian Thomas; her husband Jim; her daughter-in-law Kelly; her grandchildren, Amelia, Mack and Hayes; and her sisters, Anna, Vera, Nora, Mary and Kathleen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in support of the Rebuild to Serve program.
