With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Alexander McCarley of Fort Mill, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2026 at the age of 90. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hoyt McCarley and Evelyn Boyd McCarley; his children, Bobbi Baugher, Kathryn Schott, William McCarley and Julia Schott Taylor (Bo); his grandchildren, Victoria, Katelyn, Erin, Sara Kate, Shane (Chassadie), Alex and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Liam, Ashton (Mary Kate), Payton and Dax; his great great grandchild Shepherd; and his cousin Vicki Fagg Spoon.
