Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rodney Ashley of Fort Mill, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 83, on May 21, 2026. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ashley. He is survived by: his daughters, Shirl Jacobs (Jesse) and Robin Dillinger (Chris); his grandchildren, Megan Hudgins (Wade), Matthew Gladden (Madison), Chloe Pepper, Ian Dillinger, Devin Dillinger, Lance Jacobs (Haley) and Josh Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Westlyn, Cashton, Creed, Lincoln and Ava; and his close friend Peggy Lowder. He is also survived by his family and will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, companion, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Creed's Life Foundation, in honor of his great grandson.
